Hello 2015! Can you believe we’re in the year of Back to the Future II?! What? Am I the only one excited about that? Hmm…probably…
Well, anyways…
Happy New Years everyone!
I guess that means it’s time to think about resolutions. I don’t think I have ever accomplished a resolution in my life. In fact, I kinda forget about them in a couple of weeks. But I don’t think I’m alone in this aspect. Nevertheless, resolutions are inherently a good thing. Self-improvement and self-reflection should be encouraged. So in that vain, I will stubbornly forge on and continue to make resolutions, despite my tendency to not complete them.
- Be more healthy. I really should start taking better care of myself, after all it’s the only body I will have. I’m not much of a gym rat, I’m more a studio girl – yoga, pilates, etc. I love trying out new workouts. My problem, is consistency. Once I get out of my workout routine, it’s hard to get back into it. So I need to work on that.
- Stop procrastinating. I am the queen of procrastination. A professional procrastinator, if you will. I’m also a bit of a perfectionist. It’s not a great combination. It can be stressful, which obviously isn’t good for my health. Don’t wait until the last minute!
- Get Organized. This one goes hand in hand with Resolution #2. A main key to staying organized is tackling any mess right away, but since I’m a procrastinator, that doesn’t usually happen. I need to make a daily habit of picking up after myself and keeping things in order. No more clothes strewn about the floor.
Here to an awesome year! Cheers!
