I love public art installations. And lucky for me, there’s a new one in town.
For the eighth annual Art & Nature Festival, the Laguna Art Museum in collaboration with the City of Laguna Beach has commissioned artist Patrick Sheran of Poetic Kinetics to create one of his signature Skynet pieces. The multi-colored kinetic sculpture, entitled Sunset Trace, is soaring over Heisler Park from November fifth through the 15th. The undulating piece evokes the feels of a school of fish or a flock of birds reminding us of the beauty of nature that is constantly moving around us.
So if you’re nearby, don a mask, keep six feet apart, and go check it out.
