They say how you spend New Year’s Eve is how you’ll spend the rest of the year. Well, no disrespect to whoever “they” are, but I have certainly have had some not so great New Year’s Eves and still went on to have a great year. On the other hand, if it’s at all remotely true, then my 2023 is looking pretty good.
How did you spend NYE? I spent New Year’s Eve’s Eve and New Year’s Eve dancing around with Deadmau5, Porter Robinson, Rezz…just to name a few.
The inaugural Jackpot NYE kicked off on December 30th without a hitch. I wasn’t sure how NYE night was going to be considering reports that said it was supposed to windy and rainy. There were rumors that the fireworks wouldn’t be going off on account of the rain. In the end though, everything worked out. Lucky girl syndrome? The rain was only sprinkling and it wasn’t as windy as first predicted. The artists were in great form. All in all, Jackpot NYE was a great way to usher in the new year. I can definitely say that raving in the rain as fireworks were going off became a core memory. Happy 2023 everyone!
