If you’re on TikTok, then you’ve probably familiar with the Starbucks’ iced matcha latte with two pumps of chai drink. The viral concoction even got a nod of approval from Lizzo, who urged people to go try it.
I’m a fan of matcha and chai, so this was a no-brainer. Of course, I had to try it. The TikTokers and Lizzo didn’t lead me astray. It was delicious – dare I say, it tasted like the moon herself?
It’s also a fairly easy drink to recreate at home, as long as you have matcha powder and chai concentrate lying around. Sometimes I add in a scoop of collagen protein powder, cause I’m not getting any younger (although I am aware that the jury is still out on the effectiveness of collagen powder, but since I already have some in the pantry, why not use it?).
Have you given this a try at Starbucks? Or perhaps made it home?
