hedwig and the angry inch

Alex, Jeff, and I spent last night at the Belasco theather with “the internationally ignored” Hedwig.

It was a spur of a moment decision. We were at TKTS debating what Broadway show to see, and since there was a good deal for Hedwig and the Angry Inch and I vaguely remember seeing the movie years ago, we jumped on it. I’ll be honest and say that I wasn’t feeling it as first, but by the time Darren Criss took his bow, I was thoroughly entertained. I’ve never actually seen Glee before (much to the astonishment of Alex and Jeff), so I had no idea who he was. But he was great as Hedwig. And I have to say, I am in awe of how Darren Criss was able move in heels. Seriously, I don’t think I can do what he did.
